Carolina Climate Control replaced a very old HVAC system in a house I recently bought. They worked around my schedule with very prompt and complete replies to all of my questions, emailed or texted. They made sure I had all of the information needed to make a decision on what unit fit into my budget and needs. I didn't feel pressured at all to go with any unit in particular. They were polite and respectful of my HVAC ignorance. They were able to install the unit before some of the other companies were able to get their quotes to me. I would recommend this company to any and everyone. We ran into a small issue after the job was completed, they acted VERY quickly to fix the issue and to make sure that I was happy with the quality and service. And I am!

Just had a new HVAC unit installed and I was very impressed. Drew was great to deal with, prompt and very polite and knowledgeable. To top it all off, they were the cheapest quote and I installed a Trane in my home. There were some very good companies that many others PReFFeReD but the quote from CCC was just hard to beat. Especially when you're saving close to 2K for a comparable and probably better product.
Ray came out to our house yesterday and what we were afraid would be a major job was actually a quick fix. There are some companies that would have suggested something we really didn't need. it is refreshing to work with a company that has integrity. Marshall Gay, Mr. Ray has won you a customer for life. We will be calling to set up a service plan soon.
My old system failed late Friday before the Memorial Day weekend. These folks had a new Trane system up and running by the next Friday afternoon. I was highly impressed with their responsiveness, which included a considerable amount of Sunday holiday time. The job would probably have been done even quicker had I not been waiting for a few other quotes, none of which were as responsive as CCC was. CCC's quote was competitive; Christian and Randall (installation) were neat, efficient and friendly. And Tyler coordinated everything flawlessly. I really don't see how one could expect much more from an HVAC company. Overall, it was an excellent experience. I'll be one of their service contract customers and have no hesitation in recommending this company.
I recently had my HVAC system replaced by Carolina Climate Control. These folks are awesome. Shout out to Drew Gay! He emailed me 3 estimates the very day he met with me. Our old unit was about 15 years old, and on its last leg. I was able to be get all my questions answered by Drew, and about 4 days later, I had my new unit. The service is outstanding! I would highly recommend Carolina Climate Control!
We are very happy with our new unit, the excellent customer service, and competitive price from Carolina Climate Control. We were impressed, too, that Drew took time to explain each of our options, and did not try to oversell us.
Part 2 Whole House Complete HVAC system replacement.
Part 1 summary: Tyler did an excellent job communicating options, recommendations and performing load calculations. All professional work. Flexible, good listener and problem solver. Willing to incorporate home owner ideas...and also willing to explain why some were impractical--saving us from ourselves!
CCC recommends and installs high quality Trane systems. The installation in the attic was "from scratch." From the vent holes cut into the ceilings (plaster and steel mesh), to holes cut into the siding of the house, all were done cleanly with minimal aesthetic disruptions, little or no visible dust, dirt or other debris left behind at the end of each of the 4 work days (one less than anticipated). Ceiling vents are 100% aluminum, not fancy, but very clean, solid-sturdy, cleanly caulked along the edges. You'd never know they were in the house! They wisely installed the furnace vent out the side of the house behind the chimney--eliminating possible roof leaks, and screening it from the street view (the vent is, however, an attractive, white mushroom-shaped device). The white track behind which all the lines are run was professionally installed adjacent to window trim--parallel to it. That doesn't seem like a big deal unless you've seen one run by a window without that consideration!! Tyler even consulted us about the width of the track, making sure he sized it to accommodate the new gas line we were having run by an independent plumber. A mistake there would have been ugly! Side note---all ceiling vents were carefully measured so that the long edge is parallel to the adjacent wall. This, too, might not seem like a big deal unless you've seen installations with the vents all wonky and skewed to the wall/ceiling lines. Especially if you're a visual person, this is an important consideration. Little things mean a lot!
Steve and his workmate were punctual, efficient, clean and courteous throughout the process, being sure our home was in beyond broom clean condition at the end of every work day. The system works like a charm, evenly conditioning so that there are no hot or cold spots anywhere. We can barely even hear it running, inside or out (in part due to the variable speed system we opted for).
We highly recommend CCC for all the reasons stated above. With regard to price---their estimates were not substantially different from competing estimates. Two things tipped the balance--the quality of the equipment they install, and the professional, cooperative approach to customer service, including great communication. Better call them soon, they get real busy this time of year!
The folks at Carolina Climate Control operate like a well oiled machine and were a pleasure to deal with. From the initial schedule call, Denise was helpful and was able to get me scheduled same day for a A/C that was blowing air hotter than....well something really hot. Made the appointment for 1530, and the technician called me around 1400 and said he'd be there by 1445ish. The technician name Virgil(sorry if I messed up spelling) showed early and was great to deal with. He was extremely thorough and explained processes, prices and discussed prices before proceeding with the work. I got a bit of sticker shock with cost of everything but hey joys of home ownership. He had everything needed in his truck, and worked quite speedily. Got everything taken apart, tested, filled(needed 17lbs refrigerant in the system), replaced/installed,and assembled back together before 1700. And by 1745 the house was cool. First time all year the a/c has cooled the house to 72°!! Thank folks for making the house able to be lived in. Great work.
Carolina Climate Control was amazing. We had a few folks come out and give us quotes and provide us their professional options/opinions on what we should do. Ultimately we went with Carolina Climate Control for 2 reasons: trustworthy, and they did what was best for our needs and our home. We have a large house w a 18 year old unit. We were on borrowed time for sure. Ended up doing a 3ton unit split w a Mitsubishi unit in the frog. What a difference it has been! Carolina Climiate Control was professional, knowledgeable and trustworthy the entire process. From Drew who came and provided me the assessment/quotes to the technicians (Stephen & Joe), the entire process was wonderful. Hard working group of folks that "do the right thing." I would highly recommend these guys and this company! If anything, have them come out and just talk to you about your needs. You will not be disappointed.
