Had an estimate from another company. Marshall quoted significantly less on same repair. When he came to do the repair instead of just swapping the expensive part the other guy diagnosed as the problem, he spent the time to diagnose it himself. It was not the expensive part and he saved me a ton. Marshall went the extra mile for me.
I called Carolina Climate Control last week due to the heat not coming on in my house. I have a young child at home and was impressed with their speedy service. I appreciated that Marshall took video of what was happening with my pipes and I was able to see the problem instead of having to take his word for it. Its not easy to find contractors who genuinely care about what they do and the people they do it for. I will be calling Carolina Climate Control for any and all issues in the future.
I had some trouble with my gas furnace. I talked with another company in the Columbia Area, and they said that it be best if I got a gas pack, because the cost of replacing the furnace in a tight space would be cost prohibitive. I called Marshall to get a second opinion and he came from Charleston to the Columbia Area to give me a "second opinion." Needless to say, it saved me a great deal of money. He diagnosed and corrected the problem in a few hours. I signed a maintenance contract for the amount it would cost most companies to just put on their coveralls... I won't be calling anybody else from here on out.
I have had Marshall service my HVAC system on two occasions. Both times Marshall was enthusiastically willing to help ASAP, nights and weekends. He was able to diagnose the problems immediately and complete the repairs quickly and efficiently. He explains the issues in a very understandable manner, as well. First and foremost, Marshall is an honest and trustworthy person, which is of the utmost importance for someone in his line of work, and he is also an expert technician. I will be a customer of Marshall's for as long as I live in the area and I give him the highest recommendation.
Carolina climate control saves the day again. The technician Brian was breath of fresh air. So polite and courteous. Even took his shoes off at the door when he saw my fresh new linoleum floor. They scheduled me within hours and I was back on my way to enjoying the cool breeze of my AC unit.

I had another reputable company in the area come out and tell me I had a bad compressor, that the repair cost would be at least $1,800, and that I might as well replace my unit. Not only was I able to call Carolina Climate Control and get an appointment within three hours, but the technician came out and repaired a burned WIRE at the compressor, saving me over $1,550! Honest and fast service will always win my business. I will certainly be telling all my friends and family as well. Thanks Carolina Climate Control!
I had an after hours emergency when I arrived home at 10 o'clock one evening to find my home at 58 degrees. When I called around, everyone said it would be "late tomorrow morning" before they could make it out. When I called Marshall, he made it out within the hour and had my system up and running in thirty minutes. The repair price was very reasonable, especially for it being after hours. I will be a customer for life after my experience with Carolina Climate Control. Bonus: he's fun to look at.
